The Rocky Mountain Aviation Hangar is a 40,750-square-foot, pre-engineered private aircraft hangar constructed for Rocky Mountain Aviation and one of Las Vegas’s most notable indoor sports teams. Located at Henderson Executive Airport (HEA), the Group II classification hangar was designed and built in accordance with NFPA 409 standards.
The facility features pre-engineered metal building frames, exterior structural studs with an EIFS exterior finish system, a complete roofing system, an aircraft access door, and comprehensive interior finishes. The scope also included mechanical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and electrical systems.
Extensive site work was completed, including a new access road, aircraft ramp, taxi lane, landscaping, and all associated public right-of-way improvements. The hangar also houses a reception area, office spaces, restrooms, a kitchen with laundry facilities, a fire pump room, electrical and storage rooms, a garage, and an on-site aviation fuel dispensing system.
