First Responder Training Facilities

We design training facilities for preparation, emergency performance and responder recovery.

The skills that save lives are built in training. LEO A DALY designs first responder training facilities that replicate real-world conditions safely and repeatably, from burn buildings and firing ranges to classrooms and immersive simulation for rapidly advancing curricula and technologies. We create places where recruits gain confidence, veterans stay sharp, and agencies train together, so responders are ready when it matters most. Our engineering teams address the technical challenges these facilities bring: smoke and heat management, lighting and low visibility conditions, range ventilation and acoustics, contaminant control and decontamination, and durable systems built to withstand constant use.  We design for how people learn. Spaces for instruction, debriefing, and reflection help trainees turn experience into judgment, while healthy environments and places to recover support the physical and mental demands of rigorous training. Shared academies often bring police, fire, and EMS together, building the coordination that multi-agency incidents require.

As part of a portfolio of more than 200 first responder facilities, our firefighter and officer training centers prepare the people who protect our communities to perform with confidence when it counts most.
