Architectural Design
The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport needed a comprehensive modernization to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the airport’s primary public spaces. Spanning 60,000 square feet and completed in June 2016, this $22.6 million project focused on revitalizing approximately 900 linear feet of the airport’s exterior facade at both the upper ticketing and lower baggage levels.
Inside the ticketing hall, the renovation introduced new terrazzo flooring throughout the ticketing and security checkpoint areas, modernized ceiling and lighting design, and replaced wall and column finishes to create a brighter, more welcoming environment. The design prioritized passenger experience, safety, sustainability, and security, resulting in a more efficient and user-friendly terminal.
