This building, under the General Service Administration's (GSA) Design Excellence program, is a 275,000-SF Regional Field Office. The design included careful integration of security, sustainability and image. LEO A DALY, as part of an AE Joint Venture team, worked to provide a workspace that was highly functional, stimulating and secure. The successful LEED Certification of the building included numerous efficiency integrations, including the building orientation and building materials. The design team worked diligently throughout the project design and the procurement period to keep the budget in-line despite the escalating cost of construction materials.
