LEO A DALY to design Goodwill Omaha Operations Center
The adaptive reuse project will consolidate Goodwill Omaha’s operations, headquarters and workforce training programs into a single campus designed to expand community impact and long-term operational capacity.
LEO A DALY has been selected to design Goodwill Omaha's new 327,000 SF Operations Center, a transformative reuse project that will expand the nonprofit's capacity to serve individuals and families across the region. The facility will consolidate Goodwill Omaha's retail outlet, e-commerce, recycling and logistics operations, corporate headquarters, and workforce training programs into a single campus designed to support the organization's long-term growth and mission.
By adapting an existing building for a new purpose, the project will significantly increase operational efficiency while supporting Goodwill's sustainability goals. Once complete, the facility will expand the organization's recycling capacity from approximately 9 million to 25 million pounds annually, helping divert more materials from local landfills and enabling the efficient distribution of donated goods to Goodwill Omaha's retail network.
Expected to open in 2028, the Operations Center will create a permanent home for Goodwill Omaha's mission-driven programs, providing expanded workforce training opportunities and improved access to services for the community. The project reflects a shared commitment to reinvestment, adaptive reuse, and community impact, helping Goodwill Omaha create more opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment while strengthening its ability to serve the Omaha region for decades to come.
