Having completed nine buildings on the main campus, LEO A DALY again worked with Palm Beach Atlantic University to master plan the new athletic campus. As part of the 76-acre Rinker Athletic Campus, we also designed the Rinker Sports Center which houses locker rooms for baseball and softball, as well as men’s and women’s lacrosse, tennis, and soccer sporting events that take place on the surrounding sports fields. A design-build project with Hedrick Brothers Construction, the 32,342-SF facility provides sports training and strength conditioning facilities, as well as office and conference space for members of the athletic department.
The two-story building contains a hospitality suite on the second level with covered terraces that allow for viewing of the various sporting activities. The building’s Mediterranean style was designed to match the architecture of buildings on the main campus.
