LEO A DALY Appoints Nancy Melby as Vice President, Senior Director, Firmwide Operations
LEO A DALY has promoted Nancy Melby to Vice President, Senior Director, Firmwide Operations reflecting a strategic evolution of the firm’s leadership structure as it continues to advance growth across markets and geographies.
In this role, Melby will provide firmwide operational leadership, building on her extensive experience supporting complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. Her appointment follows John Somerville’s recent promotion to Executive Vice President, which enables him to focus primarily on expanding and strengthening the firm’s Federal market presence.
A licensed Professional Engineer (PE, SE) and LEED Accredited Professional, Melby brings deep technical expertise and a strong operational perspective to the role. During her 20-year tenure at LEO A DALY, she has progressed from a structural engineer to key operational leadership roles, including Director of Operations for the Omaha studio and the firm’s Health + Wellness and Engineering markets, supporting clients nationwide across all practice areas.
