City of Rogers breaks ground on new Civic Campus
New civic campus will unite City Hall and Police Department functions while creating a downtown anchor for public services, safety and community gathering.
The City of Rogers, Minnesota has officially broken ground on its new Civic Campus, a transformative development that will bring City Hall and the police department together in a shared facility designed to serve the city's current needs and future growth.
Located at the prominent intersection of Main Street, Industrial Boulevard and County Road 81, the new 69,000 SF campus will establish a civic anchor for downtown Rogers while advancing the community vision outlined in the Main Street Master Plan. The development will provide expanded space for city services and create new public amenities, including a community plaza, public parking, and gathering spaces that strengthen connections between residents, visitors, and the surrounding business district.
Designed by LEO A DALY, the approximately $36 million facility combines civic accessibility with operational efficiency. A welcoming public entrance and intuitive wayfinding will provide easy access to community services and meeting spaces, while dedicated police operations areas maintain the security and functionality required for public safety services.
The project consolidates municipal functions within a single campus, creating opportunities to share resources across departments. Training rooms, public conference spaces, utility areas, and fitness facilities will be utilized collaboratively, improving efficiency and enhancing service delivery for residents.
The design also emphasizes community engagement. A large public plaza along the highly visible corner site will serve as a gathering place for civic events, celebrations, and everyday community interaction, reinforcing the campus's role as a destination within downtown Rogers.
