Micaela Sheffield, an interior designer on our Dallas Hospitality design team, has been named a 2021 Boutique 18 honoree. The prestigious award, given by Boutique Design magazine, recognizes “rising design stars who are creating today’s (and tomorrow’s) most buzzed-about hospitality venues.”
Micaela is an interior designer with five years of experience working on the LEO A DALY Hospitality team. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a BFA in Environmental Interior Design and a Certificate of Entrepreneurship. Micaela had her sights set on a career in hospitality and, after graduation, moved from Philadelphia, PA, to Dallas, TX, to accept an interior designer position at LEO A DALY. Immersing herself in the industry, Micaela has led her studio’s team in IIDA’s Lavish Design Event, participated in community charitable events Gingertown and CANstruction, and is in her third year on the NEWH Dallas chapter’s Board of Directors.
In February 2021, Micaela was one of four employees firm-wide to be awarded the LEO A DALY Director’s Award, “granted in recognition of exceptionally meritorious leadership…[and] exceptional achievement, which substantially contributed to the success of LEO A DALY.”
