IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union Corporate Headquarters

Moline, Illinois

LEO A DALY provided architectural and engineering design services for the new 92,000-SF IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union corporate headquarters in Moline, Illinois. The credit union’s prominent place in the Quad Cities dates back more than 85 years, and today it serves 120,000 members.

Although it celebrates roots among farm-implement factory workers, IHMVCU has evolved with the 49 counties it serves to become the biggest credit union in the region. LEO A DALY partnered with its members to design a modern, sustainable and attractive facility that harmonizes with the Mississippi River Valley surrounding it. The design team also worked with project stakeholders to design this Class A commercial building as a workplace that attracts and retains more than 300 employees, with room to expand to 400.

The campus features two outdoor balconies and outdoor walking trails with wide vistas of the Mississippi River. Indoor amenities include a fitness center, casual gathering spaces and an equal mix of private workstations and technology-enabled collaborative spaces — all with ample access to natural light.

The lobby at the entrance of the building overlooks the river and the glass used on the exterior is influenced by the color of the water.
