Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott Campus – Student Residence

Prescott, Arizona

In 1978, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) opened its Prescott campus in the Arizona desert overlooked by majestic mountains. Now, to meet the demand for additional quality student housing, ERAU has turned to LEO A DALY to design a new facility.

The three-story Thumb Butte Apartments facility features 66 units with 264 beds at double occupancy and amenities including a community lounge and fitness center.
With the opening of the building, the Prescott campus celebrated a 40 percent growth in student population over the past four years, as well as a graduation rate that is the best in its history and an exemplary retention rate.

The Thumb Butte Apartments are the first step in a phased expansion of the campus master plan, with phase one completed in the summer of 2016.
