University of Colorado Hospital, Hybrid Operating Room

This unique Hybrid OR enables the hospital to bring together the strengths of three-dimensional digital imaging, cardiology, and surgery. It provides the ability to perform both endovascular and open procedures, such as transaortic valve replacement (TAVR), endovascular graft procedures, and the repair of aortic aneurysms. The room is equipped with multiple high definition monitors and state-of-the-art imaging, monitoring and recording equipment essential for the performance of these complex procedures. At the time this Hybrid OR opened it was the second installation of its kind in the U.S. and the sixth in the world.
