Union Square

LEO A DALY’s design for the renovation of Union Square included the main lobby, common areas on all floors, elevators, restrooms, a new fitness facility and more than 150,000 SF of office space tenant fit-outs for three federal agencies. The architectural design scope involved the creation and coordination of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans and data and communications layout plans per tenant programmatic requirements. The project encompassed open and closed office layout planning with reception area, conference rooms and employee break rooms. The design team provided standard counter and cabinetry millwork details and plastic laminate finishes for pantry, kitchenette and mail room installations. Design of system workstations and furniture layout plans for design development space planning purposes are based upon tenant-provided guidelines, including sustainable design guidance and support to meet the requirements of LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) certification.
