Catering to young, high-tech professionals, Carmel Partners developed Alder Apartments as a community where residents feel at home in Northridge, California. Social spaces allow residents to connect with one another and unwind while supporting their modern lifestyles.
LEO A DALY’s design creates warm, welcoming spaces that feel down to earth with just the right touch of style and modernity. Inspired by northern California’s lush landscapes, the leasing office incorporates earth tones, warm woods and rich textures to create an inviting setting. Comfortable lounge seating greets potential residents. Rather than a traditional desk, residents and leasing agents interact side by side in a less formal way at a communal table, while wood screens provide glimpses to resident activities beyond.
The club house is a social hub for the property. Centrally located and adjacent to the pool deck, it provides the perfect spot to enjoy socializing with friends and neighbors. To take advantage of the California sunshine and weather, full-height glass panels facing the pool can be fully opened to create a seamless, open air experience. Like the leasing office, the club house provides a comfortable, modern feel with warm, natural wood materials and textures. Inside, several bar height seating groups, a large live-edge wood dining table and chairs and lounge seating can accommodate a variety of groups and individuals comfortably.
