Education Market Sector Leader Kristi Nohavec, PE, AIA, LEED AP, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation (CINCF). The organization exists to provide operating funds and scholarship support for students to attend Nebraska’s educational institutions of excellence – currently 13 private colleges and universities.

Mark Chen, AIA, leads LEO A DALY’s Atlanta design studio
The award-winning architect, lecturer and critic brings 37 years of design experience
Mark Chen, AIA, has joined LEO A DALY to lead our Atlanta design studio as vice president and managing principal. In this role, he oversees design, operations and business strategy for the Atlanta studio, leveraging talent across the globe to deliver world-class design services to clients.
Chen has 37 years of experience in the master planning and design of facilities in the U.S., Europe, China and the Middle East, including mixed-use, healthcare and education projects. He has won numerous awards for his design work, including awards from the American Institute of Architects, Modern Healthcare magazine, the U.S. Air Force and the Harvard Architectural Forum.
Throughout his career Chen has maintained a connection to academia. He has taught as an adjunct visiting professor at Syracuse University and at the New York Institute of Technology, where he taught design studio, thesis studio and professional practice. He has been a guest critic at Cornell University, Rhode Island School of Design, Harvard University and Georgia Tech.
