Ken Martin leads LEO A DALY’s Dallas studio
The hospitality veteran brings 25 years of design and strategic-planning experience to the managing principal role
LEO A DALY has named Ken Martin, AIA, NCARB, as vice president and managing principal for the Dallas office. As the leader of the Dallas office, he will oversee all matters of operations, design, and business strategy.
Martin joins from DLR Group, where he was the firm’s hospitality and convention center expert. He has over 25 years of experience in design, planning, and management on a wide range of complex, large-scale architectural projects worldwide. For much of his career, he has been focused on the hospitality industry, which is the Dallas office’s largest market.
“Ken knows how to inspire a team to do great work. He’s a client leader, a master business developer, and a true champion of design. We’re so glad to have him leading our Dallas office,” said John Kraskiewicz, AIA, Chief Operations Officer for LEO A DALY.
“LEO A DALY is one of the preeminent design firms in the hospitality industry. The level of talent in this office is outstanding, and something I wanted to be part of. I’m joining the firm to help take it the next level –bigger, better integrated, more ambitious in terms of projects we pursue, and better positioned to help our clients achieve great things,” Martin said.
LEO A DALY Dallas is currently involved in several significant hospitality-design projects, including designs for the five-star Hotel Talisa in Vail, Colorado, the Ritz-Carlton, Orlando Grande Lakes in Florida, and the recently opened Marriott Downtown Omaha at the Capitol District, in Omaha, Nebraska.
