AIA Palm Beach honors two LEO A DALY projects

Two LEO A DALY projects earned merit awards of excellence at AIA Palm Beach’s annual awards.
“These awards affirm the fantastic work by our entire team,” said William Hanser, LEO A DALY Florida managing principal. “We’re especially proud AIA Palm Beach recognized our studio for producing a high-level of architecture design that enhances the local built environment.
The Toby & Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences in Boca Raton received an award in the residential category.
The 250,000 SF, four-story independent living building increases the community’s capacity by adding 111 luxury apartments that range in size from 900 SF to 3,200 SF. This project enlivens the senior living community through a dignity-driven design that integrates resort-style amenities in a comfortable environment where residents can age gracefully. The community has been designed to be welcoming and comfortable for visitors of any age. Active recreation and entertainment spaces are positioned throughout the entry sequence to provide guests with an energized experience as they navigate the building.
LEO A DALY’s West Palm Beach studio received an interiors award. birse/thomas architects served as the architect of record for that project.
The interior space’s build-out includes the complete remodeling of reception, atrium and break areas, private offices, workstations, restrooms, meeting rooms, and can accommodate up to 45 people. The design for the renovation also included a programing effort to update space requirements and identify adjacency needs, circulation factors, and workflow processes to improve team interaction. The guiding parameters for the design focused on creating an innovative, flexible space with robust high-tech capabilities to be welcoming, inclusive collaborative.
LEO A DALY was recently awarded the AIA Florida’s firm of the year for 2024. AIA Florida also awarded 360 Rosemary, a LEO A DALY project, with merit award of excellence for new work.
LEO A DALY has a long history of AIA Palm Beach award-winning projects. Previous winners include 360 Rosemary, the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Arthrex Headquarters and the Curve Sports & Wellness Center at Boca Grove.
