Washington Marriott Wardman Park

Washington, D.C.

In approaching an update to the Washington Marriott Wardman Park, LEO A DALY designers drew inspiration from the history of the “Roaring 20s,” bridging the gap between a more traditional style and a modern age design in both fashion and architecture. The design was inspired by the latest fashion trends integrating with 1920s fashion, creating a sense of fashionable luxury and elegance for ultimate guests relaxation.

While refreshing the hotel’s 51 guestrooms and lobby, designers focused on respecting the history of the building while creating a contemporary, modern feel. The color palette embodies these elements with shades of warm gray interwoven with pops of blue azure. Each space has a progression of color beginning with softer, lighter hues on the sun porch and moving toward more dramatic tones in the presidential suite. These classic colors provide the lobby and guestrooms with a graceful and enduring design.
