Minnesota State University, Mankato – Pedestrian Link

This new 140-foot underground pedestrian link connects the Memorial Library and Centennial Student Union on the Mankato campus of Minnesota State University. The “Connection” links the bulk of the campus buildings providing sheltered passage to students and faculty during harsh weather common to the area. The Connection design incorporates a glass wall overlooking an amphitheater on one side and a curtain wall on the other. The amphitheater allows natural light into the Connection and provides an outdoor gathering space for events/performances..
